St John Ambulance has partnered with the Dawson College First Response Team. The SJA-Dawson First Response Team is a volunteer division of SJA which is providing first aid to the Dawson community. Our team is dedicated to providing the best care possible to the students and faculty of Dawson College. As a member you will be trained in SJA Standard First Aid CPR and AED. Working in a team of 2 you are on call during the day at Dawson College.  Part of being a volunteer you are required to volunteer at least 2 hours per week at Dawson College.

Recognition of Student Involvement

The Recognition of Student Involvement is designed to recognize your commitment to your chosen activity.  You automatically qualify if you are involved in one or more of the following categories:

1. ■Athletics/Sports
   

2. ■Arts and Culture
   

3. ■Educational and Academic Activities
   

4. ■Entrepreneurship
   

5. ■Politics
   

6. ■Science
   

7. ■Social and Community Involvement
   

You are eligible for the Recognition of Student Involvement notation if you have 60 or more hours in one of the categories above, you were a full-time student during your time of involvement, you meet the standard academic success requirements, and acted as a volunteer in the activity that you are requesting recognition for.
